The workshop will highlight navigating and using the WebXam system. The primary target audience will be teachers and administrators new to the WebXam system, but the workshop will also serve as a worthwhile refresher to others.

System Requirements

Attending the webinar remotely requires:

  • A PC, Mac, or Linux system
  • A modern browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari)
  • Adobe Flash Player 10.3

Adobe Connect provides an online Connection Test for troubleshooting connection problems with your Adobe Connect Meeting. This utility tests the four key components for a successful meeting experience:

  • Flash Player version
  • Network connectivity to the Adobe Connect Server
  • Available bandwidth
  • Acrobat Connect Meeting Add-in version

You can access this utility inside the meeting room by choosing Help > Troubleshooting. You can also access the test at the following URL:

How to Join the Webinar

Follow the link below and select “Guest Login” then when prompted enter a username and then click the “Enter Room” button to join the webinar.


If you join the meeting but cannot hear the presentation, please check that your computer speakers are connected and working. You may use the Adobe Connect audio utility to test your audio connection by going to “Meeting” > “Audio Setup Wizard…” menu option from inside an Adobe Connect meeting room. If you still are having issues please contact webxam@osu.edu.
