The WebXam hierarchy is the organization of the users at a school district. The District Test Coordinator sits at the top of the hierarchy. As a result, the DTC can manage any user in his or her school district. The District Test Coordinator has flexibility in the way he or she sets up the system. Ideally, the DTC self-registers and adds other administrators; then, the other administrators add teachers, and the teachers add their students. Ultimately, the number of “layers” of users will vary from school district to school district.
A sample hierarchy is as follows:
- District Test Coordinator
- Administrator #1
- Teacher #1
- Students
- Teacher #2
- Students
- Teacher #1
- Administrator #2
- Administrator #1
