Does a student need to score proficiently in all courses in order to successfully complete their pathway?

No. The pathway-level performance standards are based on the percentage of questions answered correctly across all end-of-course tests (see the standards for each course on the About the Tests page). If a student does poorly on a test, he or she can make up for it by doing well on other tests. This model of scoring is compensatory for the student. Please note that pathway scores provided by WebXam are not authoritative and are only meant to assist in planning. EMIS is responsible for final pathway scoring calculations.
