Changing/Adding Teachers or Administrators

Students can be moved from teacher to teacher, and also be assigned to multiple teachers. Teachers do not have the ability to move students. Any teacher who needs to move students should work with their administrator.

To move students to a different teacher/administrator:

  1. Login at the WebXam home page.
  2. In the left navigation bar, click on “Secondary Student”.
  3. In the dropdown, click “List”.
  4. In the student roster table, mark the check box to choose the student(s) who need to be moved.
  5. In the “Bulk Action” drop down, choose “Add Teacher”. This will open a secondary dropdown; choose the teacher you wish to add.
  6. Once the teacher is chosen, click “Apply”.
  7. After adding, you can remove the teachers that need to be removed. Follow the same procedure, but instead of “Add Teacher” choose “Remove Teacher”.

To add multiple teachers to a student:

  1. Login at the WebXam home page.
  2. In the left navigation bar, click on “Secondary Student”.
  3. In the dropdown, click “List”.
  4. In the “First and/or Last Name” filter or the “Search” bar, enter the student name.
  5. When the student comes up, in the “Expand” column, click the green plus button.
  6. Scroll and choose the blue “Edit User” button.
  7. In the edit screen, under the section that denotes “Teachers”, enter the name of the teacher you wish to add. When the name is displayed, hit “Enter”.
  8. Scroll to the bottom and hit the green “Save” button after all teachers are added.
