- Ensure students have access to permitted tools only (scratch paper, 4-function calculator, NEC Codebook for specific pathways).
- Maintain a student-to-proctor ratio of 20:1 or follow district policy.
- Walk around the room regularly to observe student behavior.
- Watch for use of cell phones, electronic devices, or hidden notes.
- Ensure students are not communicating with each other.
- If a student becomes ill or must leave, use the “Emergency Exit Test” feature.
